Purpose:  To evaluate the issues created by the growth of the osteopathic profession as increasing numbers of osteopathic (and allopathic) graduates affect the provision of osteopathic graduate medical education (OGME) in the context of overall graduate medical education in the United States. After evaluation and analysis, the following will be created: solutions, identification of barriers and facilitating agents, and assessment of stakeholders and change agents, and prioritization of action steps with which to proceed.
